Medical hair loss
Cranial prosthesis fittings — and how women actually pay for them
If you are losing hair to alopecia, chemotherapy, or a thyroid condition, the solution is a cranial prosthesis, not a costume wig. It is fitted privately, matched to your own color and density, then cut and styled to your face.
Most women do not realize this is often a covered or pre-tax expense. It frequently is.
